GOODWELL, Okla- - The OPSU Aggies softball team faced a tricky second day at the NAIA Invitational in Mesquite, TX, dropping both games.
In their first match against Midland University, the Aggies fought hard but ultimately fell short with a final score of 3-13.
Kenley Yocom started in the circle, pitching one and two-thirds innings and allowing three runs off four hits.
Rylin Baker,
Kaycee Torres, and
Cadence Yocom appeared out of the bullpen. Despite the loss, six players recorded hits.

Kaylynn Du Preez, and
Gracie Lankford all contributed RBI hits in the game.
In the second game against Tabor College, the Aggies showed resilience, with
Meagan Bellar and
Gracie Lankford hitting back-to-back home runs in the top of the first inning. Bellar's three-run homer and Lankford's solo shot gave the Aggies an early 4-0 lead. However, Tabor College fought back, eventually taking a 5-4 lead in the third inning on a double. Despite the Aggies' efforts, Tabor College added runs in the fourth and fifth innings, resulting in a final score of 5-8.
