Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU) Men's Basketball team concluded their season with a competitive match against UNT-Dallas. Despite a strong first-half performance, the Aggies faced challenges in the second half and ultimately fell short, finishing the game with a score of 73-64.
The Aggies displayed resilience in the first half, leading UNT-Dallas by a narrow margin of 36-35 at halftime. OPSU has consistently shown promising performances in the opening halves of games throughout the season, but struggled to maintain momentum in the crucial second half to secure victories.
In their final game of the season, OPSU showcased their determination, with standout performances from key players. Freshman Amaree Brown led the team in scoring, contributing an impressive 22 points. Abdulh Diaby made significant contributions with 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks, demonstrating his skills on both ends of the court. Senior Joe Greaves gave a commendable performance in his final game, scoring 12 points and grabbing 8 rebounds to close out his collegiate career.
Despite the challenging season, the Aggies remain optimistic about the future under the leadership of Head Coach Charles Belt, who is set to embark on his second season at the helm.
