Head coach Cyrus Hall mentioned, "We couldn't have asked for better weather today. Sunny and warm with light winds. We had another solid day today. Lots of great performances. I thought our 1500m guys ran great today. Big time runs by those gentlemen. Arturo Vallejo had himself a day. PR's in both the 1500m and the 800m. I believe the 800m was a school record. The women all showed some great perseverance today. Almost all of them struggled in their first event, but bounced back for really great 2nd races with Kaylee (200m), Azu (200m) and Abbey (400h) all running PR's. Miah ran well in both events (400m/00m). Dill (100m), Josh (200m) and Kam (200m) all hit nice PR's. Kam's time is now #1 in the NAIA although all of this weekends results have yet to be posted, so he could drop a couple spots. We will get back to work Monday and get ready for OBU this week."
The OPSU Aggies Track and Field team is gearing up for their next competitive endeavor, the OBU Invitational, scheduled for Friday, March 30, to Saturday, March 31, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Oklahoma Baptist University hosts this event.
