GOODWELL, OK—The Aggies softball team wrapped up their regular season road games this weekend. They faced a tough four-game series against the Southwestern Christian University Eagles. The Aggies could not secure a win, closing the series 0-4.
Game 1:
The opening game saw the Aggies take the lead, with Marissa Obregon delivering a clutch single in the second inning, driving in two runs. However, the Eagles rallied back in the later innings, ultimately taking the game 5-3. Kenley Yocom pitched five innings, allowing five runs, four earned, and striking out two. Rylin Baker closed out the sixth inning in relief.
Game 2:
At the game's early start, the Aggies started strong, scoring runs in the second and third innings, but Southwestern Christian responded fiercely, scoring multiple runs over the subsequent innings. The Eagles took advantage of OPSU's fielding errors and solid batting, leading to a final score of 9-2. Toni Shawnee shouldered the loss, giving up six runs over five innings.
Game 3:
Saturday's first game was tightly contested, with Koral Sylestine doubling in the 4th to bring the score to a narrow 1-2. However, the Eagles maintained their offensive pressure, winning 4-1. Yocom again started on the mound, with Baker coming in relief. Together, they allowed four runs over six innings.
Game 4:
The final game remained close until the Eagles edged ahead with a run in the third inning and capitalized on an OPSU error in the fifth to finalize the score at 2-0. Shawnee pitched a complete game, striking out seven,

The Aggies return home to face the formidable #6 University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) on Sunday, April 28th, with games scheduled for 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. This matchup will conclude the regular season.
