Softball Set for Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament

Goodwell, OK—The Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU) Aggies softball team wrapped up their 2024 regular season this past weekend. They faced a tough series against the sixth-ranked University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) Drovers. Despite a challenging four-game series in which the Drovers swept the Aggies, OPSU has clinched the 7th seed in the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC).

The team is now preparing to compete in the SAC Tournament, where they will compete against the Drovers. The first match-up is scheduled for Thursday, May 2nd, with the first pitch at 11:00 AM in Chickasha, OK. The other section of the USAO bracket will be Mid-America Christian University and Texas Wesleyan University they will play at 1:00 PM.
