Head coach
Garrett Kull mentioned after the win, "Tonight was an absolute battle, and we learned a lot about this team. First off, Southwestern was a really good opponent and tested us. It was good to see
David Rubio on the scoreboard again, but the star of the show tonight was really the defense. They played a big part in not only keeping our shutout but also in helping us calm stressful moments of the game in possession. As a staff, we have really pushed this group, and they have responded with grit and determination. We're starting to build some depth in positions, and more and more Aggies are going to start becoming contributors. Now we have a quick turnaround to start getting ready for our home opener against NCAA Division II Adams State, which I'm sure is a team looking to even the score after we were able to win in Alamosa last season."
The Aggies' upcoming match is set for September 18, 2024, as they host Adams State University at Anchor D Stadium, with a kickoff scheduled for 4:30 PM. Kickoff is
