Men's Track & Field | 1/18/2025 10:35:00 AM
Goodwell,Okla—The Aggies men's and women's track and field teams began their 2025 campaign at the Washburn Rust Buster on January 17 in Topeka, Kansas.
Head Coach
Cyrus Hall reflected on the meet, saying, "The meet was called Rust Buster, and it was appropriate. We spent a lot of the day shaking off the rust. The long layoff plus the bad weather have not helped us. But we managed some bright spots. I thought our weight throwers (men and women) had a good day. They kind of picked us up and gave us some energy this morning when we were struggling. From there, I thought we ran well in the 300, 400, and 200. We finished with some good 4x400 relays. Kamron [Neal] qualified for the 400m for Nationals. He's got a lot more in the tank, so that's exciting. We will try to get some work in this week even though the weather isn't looking favorable, and we are back at it at Pitt State next weekend for the NAIA/JUCO Challenge."
