Goodwell, Okla. — Men's basketball team secured a dramatic 67-66 victory over conference foe Wayland Baptist University on Monday night, breaking a six-game losing streak against the Pioneers. The last Aggies win against Wayland came on December 7, 2021, in Goodwell.
After falling to the Pioneers 71-72 in their first meeting this season on November 26 in Plainview, the Aggies flipped the script in a nail-biting finish. Wayland Baptist missed a potential game-winning shot as time expired, giving OPSU the one-point win.
