GOODWELL, Okla. — Oklahoma Panhandle State University Athletics has listed basketball's Tryssa Dowd and Mike Carter as the Mack's Motorsports Aggies of the Week for performances spanning Dec. 8-14, the final Aggies of the Week for 2025.
Dowd stayed consistent this past week going into Central Christian, as she put up her third straight double-double on Thursday against the Tigers with a stat line that showed 17 points, 11 boards and three steals in her 34 minutes of play. Fast forward to Saturday at No. 5 Langston, Dowd may have lost the double-double streak, but she remained one of the Aggies' top performers with her six points, five rebounds and one block, the latter two of which led the Aggies. The Amarillo, Texas, native ranks third in the SAC this season with 15 blocked shots.
Carter returned from injury this week doing what he does best – playing with aggression and collecting every ball that came his way. In his first game back against Central Christian, he gathered six rebounds in just 14 minutes before going on to nab nine boards and collect two blocks in his 36 minutes of action on Saturday at No. 11 Langston. Carter also totaled 10 points and two assists against just one turnover on the week, though it was his tenacity and leadership that earned him this week's Mack's Motorsports Aggie of the Week.
