GOODWELL, Okla. — Oklahoma Panhandle State University proudly recognizes two rodeo standouts as this week's Anchor D Bank Aggies of the Week:
Parker McIntyre and
Zane Kreikemeier.
Parker McIntyre | Rodeo | Goat Tying
McIntyre led the charge for the Aggie women, who delivered one of the best weekend performances in goat tying. After clocking an 8.7-second run in the long round—placing her in a tie for 6th through 9th—McIntyre returned with a mission in the short round. She stopped the clock at a blazing 7.6 seconds, the fastest time of the weekend, earning a first-place finish in both the short round and the average.
Zane Kreikemeier | Rodeo | Tie-Down Roping
Kreikemeier came out hot in tie-down roping, turning in a 9.2-second time in the long round, good enough for second going into the short round. A barrier penalty in the short round resulted in a 22.3-second run. This gave him 31.5 seconds on two head and landed him just outside the average money.
