Men's Golf: at Falcon Cup in Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. — The Oklahoma Panhandle State University men's golf team put together a competitive showing at the 2025 Falcon Cup, hosted by Friends University on April 21-22 at Crestview Country Club's South Course. Facing a strong seven-team field, the Aggies secured a 5th-place finish on the par-71, 6,671-yard layout.

Worathan Thammachokecharoen delivered a consistent performance for the Aggies, carding a 75 in the first round and following it with a 72 on Day 2 to finish at +5 overall finishing 7th overall. He played the opening round steady at even-par on the front nine before closing the back nine with a mix of pars and bogeys. In Round 2, he recorded a clean back nine at 1-under.

Thantup Saengvut led the way for OPSU, posting rounds of 75 and 74 to finish at +7 and earn an 11th-place individual finish.

Caleb White followed close behind, opening with an impressive 71—the lowest round by an Aggie in the tournament—before carding a 79 on Day 2. White's +8 finish placed him 14th overall.

Xavyer Mosqueda, competing as an individual, turned in rounds of 77 and 78 to finish at +13 and 23rd place.

Lance Addington rounded out the team scoring, battling through both rounds to finish in 28th place at +20. Despite the challenges, Addington led the tournament in total bogeys with 20

The Falcon Cup was the final tune-up before the Aggies' trip to the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship, which is set for April 28-29 at Twin Hills Country Club in Oklahoma City.
