BETHANY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Panhandle State men's soccer team (4-2-2, 0-1-0 SAC) began its SAC schedule Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 loss at Southwestern Christian (6-1-1, 1-0-0).
Two first-half goals from the hosts did the visitors in as the Aggies were shut out for just the second time this season.
OPSU had some bright spots in what turned out to be an ultra-physical match, as it picked up four shots on goal compared to SCU's three on target.
Nils Kienass,
Othman Gherab,
Calum Murphy and
Miguel Castejon each recorded the shots on goal for the Aggies.
What's up next: OPSU stays on the road Monday afternoon for a match at RV Oklahoma City University (6-3-1, 0-0-1).
