GOODWELL, Okla. — The Oklahoma Panhandle State women's basketball team (5-18, 2-15 SAC) was defeated by College of the Ozarks (16-8, 13-5) Saturday afternoon in Anchor D Arena, 81-43.
OPSU could not find its footing through the game's opening three quarters against one of the Sooner Athletic Conference's most well-rounded teams.
Trailing 66-25 through three frames, the Aggies did not quit as they outscored the Bobcats by three, 18-15, in the fourth quarter.
Over those final 10 minutes,
Mar'kia Pratt scored six points and added four rebounds, and
Serenity Casteel connected on a pair of three-pointers, finishing her day 2-of-2 from the field with six points.
Heidi Rodriguez and
Gaby Uribe both also knocked down triples in the final frame.
Zamari Reece closed the contest with an Aggie-high seven points, and Pratt dished out three assists.
Breya Beck and
La'Tommas Johnson-Nash tied for a team-best five rebounds apiece.
