Tiana McCowan








Tiana is a native of Dallas, Texas and graduated with honors from Duncanville High School as a three-sport Varsity athlete (Basketball, Volleyball, and Swimming).

She played volleyball for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB), a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, and every year she received UAPB’s athletic academic award for maintaining a 3.0 gpa or higher during the season.  Tiana graduated with honors, obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, May of 2010.  She was also elected by her team mates and served as team captain from 2007-2009.  During her time at UAPB, Tiana also received the schools H.O. Clemons award as her team’s Freshman of the Year (2006), the Chancellors Award (Unsung Hero of the Year 2007), and her team’s Most Valuable Player (2008). 

From there, Tiana pursued her Masters of Science in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Sport Psychology and graduated with honors August of 2014.  Tiana has served as the Assistant Coach for Oklahoma Panhandle State University since 2012.
