Goodwell, Okla.—The Panhandle State Aggie Volleyball team hosts the Central Christian College Lions Saturday, Oct. 14 at 12 p.m. in the Oscar Williams Field House.
The Sooner Athletic Conference match-up also yields a special "Pink Out" fundraising event. Each athlete has chosen a special individual to play for that day who has or is currently battling cancer. Those names will be announced as each player is introduced during the pre-game lineup.
A silent auction will take place in the gym lobby during the first and second sets of the game. The auction will display several themed baskets created by members of the Aggie volleyball team. Monetary donations will also be accepted and appreciated at the silent auction table. Winners of the silent auction will be announced during the third set, and notification emails will also be sent to the winning recipients.
All fundraising and donation contributions will benefit the Panhandle Chapter of Pink Heals; a grass roots health care support program that partners with public safety, local businesses and families to bring communities together and whose mission is to celebrate people, not causes.
Join the Aggies in their Pink Out performance and help support a great local organization.
