GOODWELL, Okla. — For the second straight year, Oklahoma Panhandle State volleyball had four athletes named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the maximum number of honorees an institution can have in volleyball.

CSC released the Academic All-District Volleyball selections across all NCAA and NAIA divisions on Tuesday. For OPSU, Emma Coburn earned the prestigious scholarly honor for the second time in her career, while Winiffer Rodriguez, Skyla Stark and Elena Kagiali were first-time honorees.

Coburn nabbed her second consecutive CSC honor by excelling in her studies as an English major while being a steady presence on the court. The middle blocker played in all 31 matches for the Aggies, notching 100 kills and 33 aces. The Moore, Oklahoma, native also finished first on the team with 71 blocks, an average of 0.63 blocks per set.

Rodriguez made 27 appearances as OPSU's primary libero, leading the Sooner Athletic Conference with 4.74 digs per set en route to an All-SAC Second-Team campaign. She also surpassed 1,000 total collegiate digs on the year, and she produced a clutch, career-best, SAC-high 32 digs in the Aggies' quarterfinals win over Wayland Baptist. In the classroom, the senior transfer has excelled throughout her collegiate studies in psychology and criminal justice.

Stark, a junior middle blocker majoring in psychology with the team's second best cumulative GPA, played her way to a Third-Team All-SAC season. She finished second on the team with 65.0 blocks and third with 207 kills, all on a .297 hitting percentage that ranked fourth in the SAC. Like Rodriguez, Stark also produced a single-match best within the conference, stemming from an early-season match in which she recorded an astounding .750 kill percentage.

Kagiali, the SAC's Player of the Year, Attacker of the Year and Newcomer of the Year, also puts in work in the classroom as a business administration major. The do-it-all transfer from Piraeus, Greece, set NAIA school records (since 2017) in both kills and points while also topping the conference in those categories. In addition to her 456 kills, Kagiali was among the Aggie leaders with 375 digs, 44.0 blocks and 35 aces, lifting the standout athlete to 514.0 total points.
