Box Score Alva, Okla.—Panhandle State Volleyball fell in three straight sets to Northwestern Oklahoma State University Tuesday evening in Alva.
Now sitting 13-5 on the season, the Rangers rank fourth in the Great American Conference behind a nationally ranked, undefeated Arkansas Tech team, followed by Harding and Oklahoma Baptist. NWOSU made quick work of the Aggies, taking sets by scores of 25-14, 25-12 and 25-10. This marks the second time this season that the two inner-state opponents met on-court, as the Aggies hosted NWOSU during the Aggies Challenge Tournament early in September; the first matchup ended with similar results with Panhandle defeated 3-0.
The Aggies lagged with a substantial hitting differential of .079 compared to the Rangers who averaged .451 for the match. Offensive leaders were

Gabrielle Cruz led with 16 assists and libero
McKenna Clement totaled 10 digs over the three-set contest. Each team tallied two block assists, with Panhandles coming from Cruz and
Essence Kays. Behind the line, the Aggies were outplayed 12 to two on service aces.
With two road trips remaining this week, the Aggies will re-enter conference play at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6 at Bacone College in Muskogee.
