Volleyball fans are in for a great weekend as the Aggies host a ten-game tournament Friday, Sept. 1 and Saturday, Sept. 2 in the Oscar Williams Field House.

Goodwell, Okla.– Oklahoma Panhandle State University Volleyball is looking to leave it all on the court as the Seventh Annual Aggies Challenge Tournament commences at the Oscar Williams Field House over Labor Day weekend, Sept. 1-2. The Aggies will contend against four other teams: Jarvis Christian College, Fort Lewis College, Northwestern Oklahoma State University and University of Science and Arts Oklahoma.

Panhandle State will play host to a total of ten matches at the Oscar Williams Field House over the course of the two-day tournament. The first of a five string game day begins early with JCC battling FLC on Friday at 9 a.m. The Aggies are set to match up against JCC Friday at 1 p.m. and later take on NWOSU at 5 p.m. Saturday will also observe a long day of play as the Aggies have another double appearance within the five-game series. Panhandle State will combat FLC at 11 a.m., and cap off their evening with a match against USAO at 5 p.m.

Coach Matt Hefner affirmed he is greatly looking forward to hosting the Aggies' first tournament and home matches of the year.  The last match of the tournament will also be the first Sooner Athletic Conference match for Aggie Volleyball, which Heffner states is, "very exciting and will be a great way to start conference play at home. The Aggie Challenge is going to be a great introduction to the NAIA for us and, it's always a great feeling to be at home and get the conference season started."

Live stats and video streaming will be offered for all games with links available on the Volleyball schedule page of the Aggie athletics website, opsuaggies.com. The complete tournament schedule is also available online and results will be posted after each match. Fans and visitors will have the option of purchasing single-day or weekend passes to the event with a daily rate of $5 per person and a weekend pass, good for all 10 games, for only $8 per person. Students, staff and faculty of Panhandle State will receive free admission with a valid university ID card.
