Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Goodwell, Okla.—The Aggies were back on their home field on Tuesday for a mid-week matchup against the Sterling College Warriors. The Aggies took game one of the double header (3-2) while the Warriors fought back and left with a game two win (11-3).

The teams took to the field in sunny, albeit windy weather with Adrian Lopez on the mound for the Aggies. Both teams remained quiet through the first inning with no hits on either side. The top of the second saw two singles from the Warriors to no fruition but the Aggies plated two runs in the bottom of the inning.  A single from Padilla would get a runner on base for the Aggies; Sanchez singled through the left side and Padilla advanced to second on a botched fielder's choice. Bradley Ruiz put up a cleanly laid sac bunt to advance both runners a base, and a subsequent two-RBI double from Chris Schraer brought in Padilla and Sanchez and got the Aggies on the board, 2-0. The bats were quiet through the third on both sides, but the Warriors plated two runs in the top of the fourth to tie the score, 2-2. The fifth and sixth innings went without score with both teams putting up fluid fielding behind their pitchers. The Warriors saw a single in the top of the seventh, but the runner was tagged out attempting second base. With the score still tied, Padilla started off the top of the seventh with a barreled single down the right field line and successive single from Ruiz would advance Padilla to second with an error by the Warriors' short stop. A double steal then advanced both players. With runners second and third, a wild pitch by the Warriors was enough to bring Padilla home and the Aggies a walk-off win, 3-2. Lopez pitched all seven innings and took home the well-earned win.

Josh Casillas took the mound for the Aggies for game two, but the bats woke up for the Warriors, and they started off the top of the first plating three runs off two hits, and the Aggies went three up-three down in the bottom of the inning. The Warriors came out swinging again in the second, tacking on another three runs off a bases-loaded walk and a single scoring two runs on a fielding error by the Aggies. The third and fourth innings went scoreless on both sides, and the Aggies brought in Cesar Gomez to take the bump in the top of the fifth. The Aggie fielding fell flat and the Warriors added four runs to pull away further with the lead, 0-10. In the bottom of the fifth, a base on balls got Kelly on and his tactical base running advanced him two bases. With Kelly on third, a single to left field from Kasey Leatherwood brought Kelly in and the Aggies' efforts escaped a ten-run, bringing the score 1-10, Warriors. Sterling tacked on one more run in the top of the sixth, and the Aggies continued to fight through the seventh. Kelly doubled to right field and pinch hitter Chris Galvan took his at bat opportunity and singled through the right side, sending Kelly to third. With two runners on, Kasey Leatherwood stepped up and barreled a triple to right field and scored Kelly and Galvan. The Aggies continued to compete but it would not be enough to close the gap on the Warriors, and game two ended with a final score of 11-3 in favor of the Warriors. Casillas would take the loss on the day, and the Warriors' Poyner would take home the game two win.

With the forfeitures from St. Gregory's, the Aggies will progress 13-18 on the season and remain 4-7 in conference. The Aggies will play one more game at home before the spring break pause, taking on the Tabor College Bluejays in a double header on Monday, March 19. Game one will begin at 12 p.m. on Aggie Field.
