GOODWELL, Okla. – Oklahoma Panhandle State University volleyball will host a pair of Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) matches in this week's action. On Tuesday (Sept. 17/7 p.m.), the Aggies will welcome Wayland Baptist University to Anchor D Arena at Oscar Williams Field House, followed by a Friday (Sept. 20/6 p.m.) date against John Brown University in the friendly confines of their home floor.

NOTES:
*SCOUTING THE PIONEERS: Wayland Baptist is – along with OPSU – in a four-way logjam for second place in the SAC (along with Mid-America Christian and John Brown). WBU is 7-8 overall and 3-1 in the SAC.
*SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES: Also a part of the congested slot at No. 2 in the SAC, JBU sports an overall record of 9-3 and 3-1 in the SAC, coming in to the Friday match-up.
*ABOVE THE MARK: The Aggies (6-5) are one of the six teams in the SAC with overall winning records.
*HIP-HIP-MURRAY!: Junior transfer
Hannah Murray was named as OPSU Athletics female "Aggie of the Week" for September 2-8. Hannah led the Aggies to a pair of SAC victories last weekend, as the team defeated Central Christian and Langston. Hannah had 25 kills, a .247 attack average, 17 digs and 1 block over the weekend.
*TOUGH TRIO: The combination of
Kendra Butler,
Hannah Murray and
Richelle Carroll has accounted for 6.21 of the Aggies' 10.75 kills peer set this year. Butler leads the team at 2.22 k.p.g., followed by Murray at 2.17 and Carroll at 1.87.
*HELPING HANDS: Setters
Deagan Dingman and
Keeley Johnston average 5.83 and 5.19 assists per set on the season.
*NEXT UP: Panhandle State is at home on Friday (Sept. 20/6 p.m.) versus John Brown University.
