GOODWELL, Okla. – Oklahoma Panhandle State University Volleyball will host a pair of Sooner Athletic Conference matches this weekend, as it swings back into action. The Aggies (6-7, 3-3 SAC) will welcome Southwestern Assemblies of God University on Friday (Sept. 27) at 7 p.m., before Texas Wesleyan University comes to Anchor D Arena on Saturday (Sept. 28) for a 1 p.m. start.
Panhandle will be looking to snap a two-match skid, after winning five of its previous six contests.

MATCH NOTES
*SCOUTING SAGU: The Lions (9-6, 3-3 SAC) were the SAC pre-season favorite and received votes in the most recent NAIA volleyball poll. SAGU is currently tied with the Aggies for sixth place in the SAC standings. The Lions are coming off of a 3-2 win versus Southwestern Christian at home.
*LAST TIME VERSUS THE LIONS: The Aggies were swept twice (3-0) by the Lions
*SCOUTING TEXAS WESLEYAN: The Rams (8-6, 4-2 SAC) currently occupy a tie for fourth in the league, with a Friday night date at Wayland Baptist on tap prior to coming to Goodwell. TWU is coming off of a 3-0 loss to NAIA No. 24 Oklahoma City University last Saturday.
*AGGIES AT-A-GLANCE: OPSU is coming off back-to-back losses at home to Wayland Baptist (0-3) and John Brown University (2-3). As a team, the Aggies rank No. 3 in the SAC in team blocks 2.1 per set, including the second-highest match total with 15 (versus MACU).
