Goodwell, Okla. - Attention all golf enthusiasts and friends of Oklahoma Panhandle State University Athletics, mark your calendars for Friday-Sunday, July 10, 11-12, 2020, as the Aggies host their annual fund-raiser Belly Open Golf Tournament. The event will take place at the Sunset Hills Golf Club in Guymon, while the Saturday "Aggie Sunset Social" will be held at Hunny's in Guymon.
Â
As the main fundraiser for Aggie Athletics, all proceeds from both the tournament and Sunset Social will go directly towards facility upgrades, recruiting support and improving the overall experience for student-athletes at Panhandle State. Individuals and businesses wishing to support this great cause may do so by way of Hole Sponsorships, as well.
Â
Panhandle State and Aggie Athletics are proud to present this three-day affair fit for golfers and non-golfers alike. On Friday, players can take part in an alternate-shot skins game starting at 5 p.m. at Sunset Hills, with an entry fee of $25 each. The Aggie Sunset Social will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday (after the first round of play) and will include dinner, drinks, live music and dancing. Tickets for this stand-alone event are available for $20 each; golfers receive one Sunset Social ticket with registration.
Â
The main event is the two-day (Sat.-Sun.), four-man scramble, at Sunset Hills. There will be side games, prizes and lunch provided at the turn each day. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The cost for registration is $100 per person for the Saturday-Sunday Belly Open rounds, or $125 each for those wishing to participate in all three days' activities.
