GOODWELL, Okla. – The Panhandle State University Aggie Football team hosted Southwestern Assemblies of God (SAGU) Lions for the 2021 Hall of Fame Weekend. The Aggies are coming off a huge win versus Wayland Baptist and going into the weekend at 3-3 in the conference. The last match up between these two was late in the 2019 season with an Aggie win 35-0 over SAGU. This time the Aggies lost the battle against the Lions, 6 - 48
The Aggies, led by quarterback
Brandon Stephens, had 19 completions out of 38 attempts for a total of 154 yards on the day.
Jalen Partida had 5 catches for a total of 61 yards.
Willie McCline had 4 catches for 28 yards. And,
Jamalrian Jones who had 3 catches for a total of 19 yards and 1 touch down.
Defensively, the Aggies were led by Junior
Ja'Quavion Daniels who had 7 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles.
D'Quan Charles and
Naim McMillan each had 4 solo tackles and Charles with 2 assisted tackles as well.
The Aggies host Arkansas Baptist University on October 23, Saturday at 2 pm.
