LANGSTON, Okla. - THe Oklahoma Panhandle State women's basketball team traveled for their second straight road game of the week to Langston University. The Lions would prove too much for the Aggies as the Aggies would fall with a final score of 72-66. 

The Aggie's came out in the first half with a purpose. Imposing their will down low and scoring in the paint. However, their usual ability to make three-pointers. Only making a single three in the first two quarters of the game. The Aggies would make up for their shooting woes at the charity stripe. Going 7 for 9 in the first half. Allowing them to maintain a lead going into the half.

As the second half got underway the Lions looked to capitalize on the Aggies' offensive woes but cutting them off from the paint. The Lions would go on an early nine to two run in the third quarter to take the lead. The Aggies and Lions would exchange leads throughout the third quarter. The Aggies leaned on Senior Laky Samo and Junior Morgan Williamson down low in an effort to gain momentum going into the fourth quarter. Early in the fourth quarter both teams would struggle getting shots to fall. However, the Aggies would get into foul trouble and the Lions would shift the momentum of the game from the free throw line. Allowing them to gain the lead as well as keep it through regulation. 

Despite the unsavory ending the Aggies continued to get the ball into good hands. Cassia McCaskill, Tateum Jones, Jamiya Eaddy, and Laky Samo all finished with double-digit points in the game. McCaskill would earn her second double-double of the season with nineteen points and ten rebounds.

The Aggies look to rebound next Tuesday, December 7th at 6 PM in Goodwell at Anchor D Arena against the Wayland Baptist Pioneers.
