PLAINVIEW, Texas – In a clash of Sooner Athletic Conference unbeaten teams, Oklahoma Panhandle State University was defeated, 3-0, at Wayland Baptist University. The Aggies (9-2, 4-1 SAC) lost by set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-20 to the Pioneers (12-3, 5-0 SAC).
The loss also ended OPSU's school-record win streak at nine matches.
The Panhandle attack was held to a .088 hitting percentage for the match. Conversely, WBU hit for a .221 average on the night.
Essence West collected 12 kills, the lone Aggie with double-digit kill totals. West also helped her team on defense, amassing 13 digs.

Sydnee Saunders had six and five kills, respectively. Saunders also booked three blocks.

Ebony Dykes had a team-best five blocks, also knocking down three kills.
