GOODWELL, Okla. – The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggies hosted conference powerhouse Mid-American Christian University (MACU) Evangels, Saturday, September 11, 2021. MACU came in with a 9-3 record on the season and a huge road win vs Wayland Baptist the night before. Ranked #1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference, the Aggies were set up for a battle in front of a rowdy Aggie crowd in the Anchor D Arena.

Set 3 was a complete transition by the Aggies on both offense and defense. The Evangels were nearly shut out at the net, only hitting a .077. The Aggies stepped up in a big way offensively as well. The Aggies never slowed down and they never looked back, winning set 3, 25-20 and winning set 4, 25-21. The Aggies forced a 5-set match and took the victory 3 sets to 2.
