Oklahoma Panhandle State University Director of Athletics, Victor Esparza, has announced that Dakota Hart has been named the Head Cheer Coach.

Esparza shared "I am excited for Coach Hart to join the Aggies. Throughout the interview process, she rose to the top, her passion to teach young student-athletes, energy and drive to help grow a program. Coach Hart, will be a excellent coach and mentor for our Aggie Cheer Team."
Prior to Panhandle State, Dakota lived in Angola, Indiana. She received her Bachelors in Sports Management from Trine University. She has been cheering since she was in the 6th grade. Whether it was cheering in school, All-Star Cheerleading, or college cheer it has always been a passion of hers. Hart stated "everyone dreams of a job that you can do what you love, and now, I have that. I cannot wait to build this program and team."
Dakota is excited to hit the ground running with her team. "My goals for the team this year is to compete and represent Panhandle State in the NAIA division. My student-athletes are hardworking, determined, and talented. I know they will do a great job representing OPSU this year."
