GOODWELL, Okla- The Aggies women's basketball team traveled to Alva, Oklahoma, to take on the Rangers of northwestern Oklahoma state university.
The Aggies have been on the highway for five straight of their eight games.
In the first period of the competition, both teams exchanged buckets with back-and-forth scoring. No team would have a lead greater than 3.
In the second period, the Rangers played keep away from the Aggies; the Rangers would go on a 9-0 run, scoring 31-22 rangers.
Coming out of halftime, the Rangers would open their lead up to 14 from an excellent 3-point shot, completing the final score 60-46.
Directing the way for the Aggies in scoring stood sophomore
Chevelle Ralstin with 13 points, including a steal and nine rebounds; seven rebounds were defensive. Senior
Tateum Jones collected 10 points and four offensive rebounds.
The Aggies tallied 15 steals to the Rangers' 9.
The Aggie's next game will start conference play as they head to Waxahachie, TX, and face Southwestern Assemblies of God on November 17th at 6:00 PM.
