GOODWELL, Okla. – Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggie Volleyball has released their 2022 Fall Schedule. The 28-match slate features 15 home matches to be played in Anchor D. Arena and 13 matches on the road.
The Fall 2022 season will be Head Coach Allen's third year. Allen stated, "I am looking forward to the Fall 2022 season and the opportunity to host the Aggie Classic. Again, we have great returners:
Rebecca Candido,
Ashley Sanchez,
Gracie Soza,
Lesly Galarza,
Essence West, and
Ebony Dykes. Each one worked this past spring diligently in training, having a learner's mindset and, focus towards the future."
The Aggies begin by hosting the Aggie Classic Tournament on August 19
th and 20
th. The Aggie Classic will bring six universities to The Panhandle for what should be action packed competition. Check back soon to learn more about the tournament.
The Aggies had many things to celebrate last season. With an overall record of 21-11, the Aggies not only accomplished the best win record in program history, but also defeated universities and colleges that the Aggies had not in the past. The key 2022 wins for the Aggies were Mid-American Christian University, Wayland Baptist, Oklahoma City University, and John Brown. Senior
Essence West finished the 2021 season ranked 29
th in the nation in kills per set and earned her second All-American title. The Aggies ended with a ranking of 5
th in the Sooner Athletic Conference and begin the 2022 season with a refocused energy.
