Box Score LANGSTON, Okla. – The Oklahoma Panhandle State Aggie Volleyball took on Langston University Lions this Saturday afternoon. The Aggies are coming in match 4-3 in Sooner Athletic Conference and swept Central Christian in three straight sets last night. The Aggies beat the Lions in four sets, 25-27, 25-13, 25-18, 25-19.
The match started as a tightly contested battle; each team fought without letting the other team get more than two points away from the other. The Lions outhit the Aggies with 15 kills to the Aggie's 11 and were able to pull the set and win. However, the Aggies came out on fire in the second set, hitting .444 and holding the Tigers to a low .091. And, since the second set's start, the Aggies maintained control of the match.
Highlights of the match. The Aggie Volleyball team hit .200 versus the Tigers .070. The Aggies had 54 digs, 11 blocks, and four service aces. Senior setter
Lesly Galarza had 29 set assists, nine digs, and one service ace.
Essence West had a double-double with 16 kills and 11 digs.
Ava Newby had nine kills on 22 attempts, hitting .318. Junior Joelle LaForce had six kills, hitting .400, one solo block, and one block assist.
Ebony Dykes hit .500 and had five solo blocks and three block assists. Junior libero
Gracie Soza had 11 digs, two service aces, and ten assists. Following Soza was

Ashley Sanchez with 8.

Julie Allen shared, "It has been a great weekend for the Aggies. We were challenged by two Sooner Athletic Conference opponents and came out victorious. I am proud of each player for staying focused on our team goals, game plan, and executing it."
Next up for the Aggie Volleyball team is to host Oklahoma City University on Friday, September 30th at 6 pm in Anchor D. Arena. And on Saturday, October 1st, hosting Southwestern Christian University at noon in Anchor D. Arena.
