GOODWELL, Okla- Aggies baseball played their final game in Mesa, AZ, as they faced Arizona Christian University Saturday afternoon.
In the first inning, the Aggies started off to a great start, with Junior
Ryota Kusumoto hitting a single to right field. Kusumoto would advance to the next play by stealing second. The next batter, Freshman
Alejandro Hernandez, would ground out to the pitcher to advance Kusumoto to third. Junior
Jeremy Dibartolomeo would draw a walk to have the corners loaded, Kusumoto would get the Aggies on the board from a ground out, and Tucker bond would knock home a run making the score 2-0 Aggies.
The Firestorm would go up 3-2 in the bottom of the third inning and wouldn't look back, making the final score 2-13.
Sophomore
Juan Javier would make his 11-game start on the mound for the Aggies and would go 4.1 innings with eight earned run off of seven hits with two strikeouts.
Aggies will be home on February 3rd as they face York University for a doubleheader, with the first pitch at 12:00 PM.
