Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggies Volleyball team showcased an impressive performance against the Central Christian Tigers. The Aggies came into the match with high spirits following a victory over Langston on Friday night.
In a three-set showdown, OPSU dominated with a victorious start in the first set, winning 25-21. The dynamic duo of Joelle LaForce and Bryanna Rosario made their mark with four kills each during the first set. The Aggies carried this momentum into the second set, clinching a 25-22 win with a stunning 12 kills on 20 attempts.
The third and final set saw OPSU sealing the deal with a convincing 25-19 victory. Nyah Ulmer played a pivotal role as the setter for the team, amassing an impressive 33 assists throughout the match. Bryanna Rosario continued to shine, concluding the match with a total of 11 kills, while Taylore Alsaid contributed with four block assists.
The Aggies' back row was managed by Rosario and Alsaid, each racking up 10 digs. Head Coach Nick Serowski expressed his enthusiasm for the team's future performance, emphasizing the need for the girls to bring more energy and excitement to the game.
Looking ahead, OPSU Volleyball will be in action at home once again on Tuesday, October 17th, as they face off against Wayland Baptist University.
