GOODWELL- The Aggies men's cross country team competed in the Mid States Classic hosted by Southwestern College (KS) on Saturday morning. This was their final meet before the highly anticipated conference championship. Here's a summary of their performance

After the meet coach Cyrus Hall shared"Mixed bag today. Overall, the course ran slower this year than it did last year. Might have been the conditions. It was unseasonably hot, dry, and a little windy.
I thought a couple of our guys ran really well (Bramhan, Carlos, Chuy), but times aren't going to show that. We were 1:00-1:30 slower per guy than last week in Hobbs. We ran without Trevor again today, but we are hoping he'll provide a boost for us in 2 weeks at SAC when we put him back in the lineup.
We did however beat a few teams today, so it was nice for us to come out with some head to head battles, especially with SAC teams. We will continue to get right and be ready to put our best races together in 2 weeks."
While the team gave a commendable effort, they are now shifting their focus to the upcoming challenge at the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship, which will take place on November 4th in Bethany, OK.
