GOODWELL,OK- The OPSU women's soccer team played their final road game of the season on Monday night as they traveled to Oklahoma City, OK to face off against Mid-America Christian University in a crucial conference matchup. Unfortunately, the Aggies faced a tough challenge as the Evangels came out strong, scoring two quick goals in the first 10 minutes of the first period. The first half concluded with the Evangels adding another goal to their tally.
Despite the Aggies' resilience, the second period proved to be a challenging one as well, with Mid-America Christian University finding the back of the net two more times. The final score of the game stood at 5-0 in favor of the Evangels.
Regan Ake showcased her offensive prowess by leading the Aggies with 2 shots.
With this road game behind them, the OPSU women's soccer team now looks forward to concluding their 2023 season with a home match against the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. This exciting matchup is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 28th.
