Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggies women's volleyball team secured a resounding victory tonight, defeating the University of Science and Arts in a 3-0 match. The Aggies impressive performance on the court resulted in consecutive set wins with scores of 26-24, 25-22, and 25-18.
This win marks the Aggies' fifth consecutive victory, showcasing their dominance and unwavering determination in the latter half of the season. With only three games left in the season, the OPSU Volleyball team is poised to finish the season on a high note.
The Aggies had standout performers in tonight's match. Bryanna Rosario and Ava Newby led the team in kills, each delivering 10 powerful kills. The serving was exceptional, with the Aggies recording a total of 6 aces. Alanah Best, Kensey Clifton, and Nyah Ulmer each contributed 2 aces. Alanah Best also made her presence felt with 3 crucial blocks.
The setting duties were effectively shared between Nyah Ulmer and Kensey Clifton, as they assisted in 14 kills each. Mia Sanchez and Rosario held down the back row, with Sanchez contributing 9 digs and Rosario adding 10.
