Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU) Aggies women's volleyball team took on a formidable opponent today as they faced off against the John Brown University Golden Eagles. The game marked the conclusion of a two-week-long road stand for the Aggies.
The Golden Eagles of John Brown University put up an impressive performance, clinching victory in three sets. The sets played out as follows: Set 1: 25-11, Set 2: 25-17, Set 3: 25-21.Â
Despite the outcome, the OPSU Aggies showcased some notable individual performances. Taylore Alsaid led the team with 8 kills, closely followed by Joelle LaForce with 7 kills and Bryanna Rosario with 6 kills. Mia Sanchez contributed with 21 assists. The Aggies' defense also had its moments, with Cami Kenny and Taylore Alsaid each recording a block. In the backrow, Kensey Clifton displayed exceptional skill with 15 digs, while Nyah Ulmer contributed with 12 digs.
The OPSU Aggies now look forward to returning home. They will be back in action at Anchor D Arena on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 6:00 PM, as they face off against Langston University.
