While the Aggies fought valiantly, they dropped the match in straight sets, with the final scores being 25-18, 25-13, 25-13.
The highlight of the day was OPSU's heartfelt tribute to their only senior, Joelle LaForce, who has been a remarkable presence as the team's middle blocker this season. LaForce, playing in her final home game, was honored for her dedication and contributions to the Aggies' volleyball program. She has amassed an impressive 166 kills this season, boasting a hit percentage of .154, and has been a formidable force at the net with 39 blocks to her name.
In a fast-paced match, the Rams' formidable front-row presence proved to be a challenge for the Aggies. Despite the tough competition, the Aggies showed resilience and determination.
Leading the way for OPSU in the match was Ava Newby, who contributed 10 kills, while Joelle LaForce, Taylore Alsaid, and Alanah Best each had 4 kills. Kensey Clifton recorded 12 assists, and Nyah Ulmer chipped in with 8 assists. On the defensive end, libero Mia Sanchez stood out with 11 digs, while Taylore Alsaid added 13 digs and Kensey Clifton recorded 12 digs.
