The Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU) Aggies Volleyball team showcased their resilience and determination tonight in a nail-biting non-conference matchup against Bethany College. The Aggies emerged victorious after a five-set battle, securing the win with a final score of 3 sets to 2.

The Aggies had entered the match with a surge of confidence, having secured their first Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) victory just last weekend. Despite a shaky start in the first set, which Bethany College claimed with a score of 25-17, OPSU quickly regrouped and demonstrated their mettle in the subsequent sets.

Set two was a heart-pounding affair, marked by 13 tie scores and 6 lead changes, showcasing the fierce competition between the two teams. OPSU ultimately clinched the second set with a score of 25-23. In set three, the Aggies maintained their composure and secured another closely contested victory, winning 25-22.

Bethany College proved their mettle in set four, pushing OPSU to their limits, and ultimately forcing the match into a fifth and final set. The Aggies, however, rose to the occasion and managed to secure the win with determination and teamwork.

Panhandle State's standout players of the evening were
Bryanna Rosario with an impressive 16 kills,
Joelle LaForce contributing 14 kills, and
Alanah Best adding 13.The setting duo of
Mia Sanchez and
Nyah Ulmer played a pivotal role in the Aggies' success, with Sanchez assisting on 39 points and Ulmer adding 16 crucial assists.
Cami Kenny's four well-timed blocks helped anchor the team's defense, and Libero
Kensey Clifton's 25 digs ensured a solid defensive foundation.
