Box Score The Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU) volleyball team faced off against Oklahoma City University (OCU) on their home court at Anchor D Arena.

The first set proved to be a closely contested battle with both teams displaying exceptional blocking skills. OCU managed to secure the first set with a score of 25-22, thanks in part to their 5 blocks compared to OPSU's 3.
Alyssa Piano led the blocking efforts for the Aggies, contributing 4 blocks to the match.

In the second set, the Aggies found themselves trailing early but showed resilience by earning points through OCU errors and impressive kills from
Bryanna Rosario,
Ava Newby,
Joelle LaForce, and
Alanah Best.
Kensey Clifton's service ace brought OPSU within three at 15-12. However, OCU proved to be a formidable opponent down the stretch, winning the set 25-21.

The third set saw Panhandle State struggling to find their rhythm, and OCU secured the match win with a convincing 25-12 victory in the third set.

Despite the outcome, there were notable performances from OPSU players. Rosario led the team with 8 kills, 9 digs, and 1 block.
Mia Sanchez assisted on 18 of OPSU's 22 kills during the match.

Looking ahead, the Panhandle State Volleyball team is gearing up for a non-conference matchup against Southwestern College on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 6:00 PM. They will then return to conference play on September 8th when they face Central Christian College (Kan.) on the road.
