Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU) staged a remarkable 17-point comeback to secure a resounding 62-50 victory against Central Christian College. The Aggies displayed resilience and determination, turning the tide in a game that had them trailing by double digits at halftime.

The first quarter saw both teams locked in a tight battle, with OPSU and Central Christian deadlocked at 9-9. The Aggies showcased solid defense, setting the stage for an intense showdown. However, the second quarter proved challenging for OPSU as they conceded 21 points, finding themselves down by 10 at the half with a score of 30-20.

The beginning of the third quarter saw Central Christian extending their lead to 17 points at the 8:20 minute mark. It was at this critical juncture that the Aggies mounted a spectacular comeback. Displaying tenacity on both ends of the court, OPSU went 6-13 from the field and a perfect 4-4 from the free-throw line in the third quarter. The Aggies' defense tightened, limiting Central Christian's scoring opportunities.

The momentum continued into the fourth quarter, where OPSU dominated with a commanding 25-10 run. As Central Christian attempted to mount a response, they were compelled to foul, leading to crucial free throw opportunities for OPSU. Mariah Williams stepped up, going 10-12 from the free-throw line down the stretch to help seal the victory for the Aggies.

Leading the scoring charge for OPSU was Molly Jones, who notched an impressive 17 points, sinking four three-pointers and shooting 5-6 from the free-throw line.
