Goodwell, Okla—On Tuesday night, the women's soccer team was defeated 2-0 by Texas Wesleyan University in their final Sooner Athletic Conference season road match. The loss drops the Aggies to 0-6 all-time against the Rams. The Rams scored early, scoring in the 14th minute and 35 minute, taking the lead and the game.

AlaraLynn Gunderson, who finished with seven stops, the Aggies struggled to break through Texas Wesleyan's defense. The Rams held a 13-6 advantage in total shots, with nine on target compared to five for the Aggies.


Yaddelis Alderete led the Aggies' attack with two shots on goal, while Jacqueline Escalera, Emma Daskalov, and Dayana Murillo also managed shots on target. However, the Rams' defense kept the Aggies from finding the back of the net. The Aggies earned four corner kicks but could not convert their chances into goals.


The Aggies now focus on John Brown University (Ark.) on Saturday, October 26, at 1:00 PM at Anchor D Stadium in Goodwell, OK.
