GOODWELL, Okla. – Men's basketball took an 85-64 victory over the University of North Texas at Dallas Trailblazers. This marks the Aggies' first-ever win against the Trailblazers in program history.
Despite a slow start that saw the Aggies trailing 13-4 within the first five minutes, the team rallied with a 9-0 run. Tahki Chievous landed a layup to tie the game at 13-13 at the 12:28 mark. The Aggies seized momentum and carried a 42-32 lead into halftime, maintaining control for the remainder of the game.
Amaree Brown recorded a career-high 34 points, shooting an impressive 10-of-13 from the field, including 5-of-6 from beyond the arc and a perfect 9-of-9 from the free-throw line. Brown also grabbed seven rebounds and dished out three assists.
Abdulh Diaby contributed significantly with 17 points, hitting 6-of-9 from the field and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe. Brice Langford added eight points and six rebounds, while Chievous chipped in six points off the bench.
The Aggies capitalized on turnovers, scoring 24 points off UNT-Dallas miscues with 58 points from the bench.
Defensively, the team held the Trailblazers to 45.8% shooting and secured 38 rebounds, including 15 offensive boards, resulting in 11 second-chance points.

Oklahoma Panhandle State (3-4) will look to carry this momentum as they travel to Plainview, Texas, on Tuesday, November 26, to face Wayland Baptist University. The tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM.
