GOODWELL,Okla- The OPSU Aggies baseball team met an action-packed weekend in Gruver, TX, as they finished a four-game series against the York University Panthers due to unfavorable weather situations from the past week.
In a series that pushed the team's resilience, the Aggies had a challenging start on the first day, falling to the Panthers with scores of 4-12 and 7-12. Undeterred, the Aggies rallied back in the following games to split the series.

- Game One: OPSU 4, York University 12
- Game Two: OPSU 7, York University 12
- Game Three: OPSU 9, York University 2
- Game Four: OPSU 7, York University 6
Highlights:
- In Game Three, pitcher Josh Doerr had a stellar performance, tossing all seven innings, allowing only two runs, and striking out seven batters.
- Jhonn Cabrera led offensive firepower in Game Three, each contributing with 3 RBIs.Isaiah Halton finished with 2 RBIs
- Game Four saw the Aggies take an early lead of 6-2 in the third inning. Despite a comeback attempt by the Panthers to tie the game 6-6 in the top of the 6th inning, the Aggies responded with determination. An error led to Kameron Kostial scoring, securing a 7-6 lead.

Looking ahead, the OPSU Aggies will return to their home on February 9th. They will face the University of the Southwest (NM) in a four-game series, with the first pitch scheduled for noon.Â
