Goodwell, Okla. The OPSU Aggies hosted the University of the Southwest Mustangs in a thrilling doubleheader.

Game One Recap: University of the Southwest Mustangs 6 - OPSU Aggies 2

The opening game saw the Mustangs storm out of the gates, commanding a 6-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Despite a valiant effort from starting pitcher Leandra Tamaki, who took the mound for the Aggies, the Mustangs capitalized on early opportunities, tallying six hits and six runs in the inning. Tamaki's outing concluded after one inning, with Braeden LeJarraga stepping in from the bullpen to provide relief.

Game Two Recap: OPSU Aggies 4 - University of the Southwest Mustangs 3

Determined to bounce back, the Aggies showcased resilience in the second game of the doubleheader. Capitalizing on the Mustangs' defensive miscues, the Aggies surged to an early 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.

Colby Diduch took the mound as the starting pitcher for OPSU, delivering a solid performance despite facing some challenges. Diduch pitched three and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on one hit and issuing five walks. The bullpen proved a game-changer for the Aggies, with Zach Mayhew stepping in and delivering an electrifying performance. After the game head coach Shawn Joy stated"We came back after a tough first game and got a big win. We'll try to carry that over to tomorrow."
