The game, held at the OPSU home court, showcased exceptional performances from both teams, delivering a thrilling experience for basketball enthusiasts. The first half saw USAO with a slim lead of 48-46, with phenomenal shooting displays from both squads. USAO impressively shot 50% from beyond the arc and 62% from the field, while OPSU managed a solid 42% from three-point range and maintained a perfect 100% from the free-throw line.
Reggie Quezada of the Drovers had a standout performance, amassing an astonishing 43 points, while OPSU showcased their offensive prowess with three players scoring 20 or more points. The first half revealed a closely contested battle, with USAO committing 10 turnovers and OPSU registering 6.
