Marion, IN – The Aggies men's track team traveled to Marion, Indiana, to compete in the NAIA Outdoor National Championships, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University. The championships span three days.

Day One Highlights:

  • Men's 4x100 Meters Relay:
  • Men's 200 Meters:
    • Freshman Kamron Neal delivered an outstanding performance in Heat #2, clocking a time of 20.61 seconds. His impressive run secured his spot in the national finals on Friday.
After the first day head coach Cyrus Hall stated "We had a pretty good day today. The 4x100m ran well, we were winning for a little over half the race before we got sucked up. But the guys ran their 2nd fastest time of the year by .02 seconds. We came in ranked 24th. We finished 20th. We really wanted to run sub 41.0. But we just missed out. The guys had a good year. Hopefully we'll be back next year with some experience under our belt.

On the flip side, Kamron ran lights out today! Big personal best in the 200m prelims! He won his heat to auto qualify to finals on Friday. So he will be running for a National title and All American honors.

Kamron also has the 100m prelims tomorrow for a chance at another final on Friday. So he will get some recovery in tonight and get ready to roll again tomorrow".

Upcoming Events:

  • Men's 100 Meters Prelims:
    • Kamron Neal is set to compete in the 100-meter prelims tomorrow at 3:40 P.M.
