Box Score Goodwell, OK – The Oklahoma Panhandle State University volleyball team fought hard but ultimately fell short in a four-set loss to Oklahoma City University. Despite a strong effort, the Aggies lost by 8-25, 25-23, 15-25, and 12-25.
OPSU's offensive charge was led by Ava Newby, who recorded ten kills, followed closely by Taylor Silva with nine kills, and Taylore Alsaid who added 5. The Aggies struggled to find their rhythm early but showed resilience by taking the second set 25-23.
Defensively, Teagan Mendoza-Werner led the team with 16 digs, Alsaid contributed 14, and Nyah Ulmer added 11. Ulmer also directed the Aggie attack, finishing with 21 assists, while Ava Newby led the effort at the net with three blocks.
Head Coach Myers acknowledged the strength of the competition and the areas for improvement. "They were a great team. We still have lots to work on. We will continue to work on executing our game plan," Myers said following the match.
