GOODWELL, Okla. — The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggies volleyball team battled hard. Still, it fell to John Brown University in three straight sets on Saturday afternoon at Anchor D Arena. The Golden Eagles won with scores of 25-13, 25-21, and 25-21.
Panhandle State started the match slowly, struggling to find a rhythm against John Brown's robust service and attack. Despite the setback in the first set, the Aggies showed resilience and put up a fierce fight in the following sets, coming close but unable to overcome the Golden Eagles' consistent play.
Taylor Silva led the Aggie offense with a team-high 13 kills, followed by Ava Newby and Taylore Alsaid, who contributed 7 and 5 kills, respectively.
