Coach's Comments

Despite the loss, head coach Charles Belt remained optimistic:

"With nine games left in the regular season, this was the weekend we needed. I know that sounds crazy because we went 0-2. But there's growth in humility. We got WAY ahead of ourselves after winning a couple of 'big' games, and this weekend brought us back down to earth. We haven't earned anything, and we have a lot to still prove and improve on to reach our goal. The best news is, with nine games left, mathematically our goal is right there! Now we have to put in the work to achieve it. We look forward to earning our right to keep playing after the regular season."

Up Next

The Aggies return home to host the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 8:00 PM in the Anchor D Arena at Oscar Williams Field House.
