Goodwell, Okla. – Men's basketball team ended a seven-game losing streak in commanding fashion Saturday night with a 66-42 win over the Bobcats in their first-ever matchup.
The Aggies came out strong from the tip-off, with Abdulh Diaby setting the tone just seconds into the game with a jumper in the paint. OPSU maintained control throughout, refusing to let the Bobcats take the lead and entering halftime with a solid 33-24 advantage.
The second half showcased the Aggies' defensive dominance and offensive consistency. A key moment came with 11:54 remaining when Amaree Brown drained a three-pointer to push the Aggies' lead to 20 points, effectively sealing the game.
OPSU's largest lead of 25 points came in the final minutes as they cruised to their first-season victory.
